So much to do, so little time!

You ask what the Hard Hats & High Heels Breakfast is….well, let me tell you! Pay close attention, get your calendar out. As a “Celebrity Model” for the Annual March of Dimes Fashion Show (to be held in November–more on that later) it is my duty to raise money for the March of Dimes. So-on Friday….. October 2, 2009 you are invited to have breakfast with Nine Celebrity Builders in High Heels & Hard Hats! Yes, it will be as much fun as it sounds. Between 7:00 – 10:00 a.m. (come and go) you can have breakfast with Builders: Kevin McGinley, Dan Diemer, Gabe Sandoval, Farrell Thurston, John Hadley, Mike Clifford, Judd Singer, Wayne Suggs, and JB Stearns – all decked out in high heels, hard hats and aprons. They will be “serving” breakfast for tips and votes. This will be an opportunity to buy votes–“Best Legs” & “Legs-that-need-the-most-Help”. Prizes will be awarded! Breakfast will be on a donation basis, so bring your checkbook or credit card. I am doing this event with Morgan Switzer (Real Estate Guide of Las Cruces). Our goal is to raise $7,000 ($3,500 each) for the March of Dimes. If you are not able to make it that day and are willing to donate to the cause please visit www.HighHeelsForHighHopes.com and go to my page: Pat Bellestri-Martinez below. My sponsoring Salon is Duncan Nobel. Breakfast will be generously provided by Mesilla Valley Kitchen, The Shed, Walmart and Andele’s. For me this is one of the great things about living in Las Cruces; We can get together with our “Competitors,” have a good time, share laughs and raise money for a good cause. Las Cruces Builders are the best!
We are looking forward to the Fall as we power up our Construction crew again. Cool mornings, sunny warm afternoons, and beautiful blue skies. The guys are anxious to get back to doing what they do best, building homes! They are especially ready to Ram the walls. If you have an interest in watching that process let us know and we will let you know the days they will be ramming. As always, we remind our Soledad Canyon Earth Builders homeowners to be mindful of maintenance. Homes need regular care and attention.
Look forward to sharing the construction process of the next few rammed earth homes through this e-newsletter. May the first day of Autumn bring you that sense of well being and comfort that we cherish.
